  1. 2006 THE GATES OPEN Sue launches Who In The Zoo in Sydney — a specialist fashion recruiter with a different idea of how candidates should be treated.
  2. 2008–09 GROWING THROUGH THE GFC While much of the industry pulled back, the zoo kept growing — powered by candidate care and word of mouth.
  3. 2011 TRUSTED BY THE BIG NAMES Clients include PAS Group, M Webster Holdings, General Pants Group, PeepToe and Volcom.

Sue launched Who In The Zoo in 2006, just before the global financial crisis — and while much of the industry pulled back, the zoo kept growing. Her approach was different from day one: where most recruiters side with whoever pays the fee, Sue built an agency that looks after candidates just as closely as clients.

That means regular, detailed updates through every stage of the process, personalised advice on CVs, and honest conversations about fit. It's why so much of the zoo's work comes through introductions and referrals — and why brands from General Pants Group to Volcom have trusted Sue and her team with their people.
